<p>RECEPTION/ APPOINTMENT CLERK 1</p> <p>Do you want to provide clerical support for the medical and behavioral health providers on the integrated teams?</p> <ul> <li>Do you enjoy taking accurate and complete messages for other staff? </li><li>Are you looking for benefits effective on the first day of employment? </li><li>Do you want to work where your professional growth and development are a priority? </li><li>Can you scheduele appointments and maintain good record-keeping? </li><li>Do you have the ability to identifying patient correspondence, sorting and identifying mail and faxes? </li><li>Can you help patients get the correct information they need? </li><li>Are you willing to Contribute to the team effort by supporting all team members? </li></ul> <p>Yes?</p> <p>Please click here to apply for the position of Reception/Appointment Clerk-1 at the Lynn Community Health Center.</p> <p>In this role you will:</p> <ul> <li>Schedule appointments via online scheduling system. </li><li>Verify and update demographic and insurance data in the computer. </li><li>Consistently check voice mail and forward messages to the appropriate staff. </li><li>Continually monitor appointment schedule, acknowledge appointments, and change appointment status when necessary. </li><li>Monitor Waiting Room to insure patients are being taken care of in a timely manner. </li><li>Responsible for contacting and rescheduling patients when behavioral provider is out of the office. </li><li>Ensures proper use of all office equipment (fax, copier, PC, e-mail, practice management software, printers, phones, voicemail, etc.) in accordance with office policy. </li></ul> <p>The successful applicant will offer:</p> <ul> <li>History of good attendance and positive work attitude towards co-workers and other health center departments. </li><li>High School Graduate or equivalent. </li><li>Graduate of secretarial program preferred. </li><li>Medical Terminology course completed within one year of hire. </li><li>English / Spanish bilingual ability is required. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work within a team and to effectively support team goals and objectives. </li><li>Pleasant telephone manner; good memory and patience. </li><li>Strong organizational skills with demonstrated proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office) </li></ul> <p>Please apply now and grow with LCHC</p> <p>Thank you !</p>
