<p>Job Title: Scanning Operator Lead Location: Philadelphia, PA Job Type: Hourly Consultant Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, M-F Pay: $22/hr Purpose: • Assist with the day-to-day operations within a Digital Imaging Center, with a focus on digital imaging and related duties. • The position is an operational role with accountability for managing all aspects of digital imaging and scanning. • Critical for meeting contractual SLAs and ensuring that customer orders are completed accurately and on time, according to specifications. Essential Functions: • Prepare customer documents for the digital imaging process • Check physical documents for quality issues that may complicate the scanning process • Prepare a wide array of document types and conditions for scanning • Operate scanning equipment and software effectively to ensure high-quality image capture • Index scanned images according to naming conventions outlined by the customer and/or RDIC leadership • Perform additional post-imaging services such as file conversion, renaming, or quality checks • Maintain organization and accuracy in handling large volumes of documents • Perform basic maintenance on scanning equipment as needed • Comply with company and customer confidentiality standards • Assist in training new staff as required • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs Physical Demands: • Minimal to moderate physical effort required • Some moving of boxes and loading paper into machines • Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle documents and operate scanners • Movement between stations and machines throughout the day Mental Demands: • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking • Effective written and verbal communication • Ability to comprehend complex instructions and processes • High level of focus and attention to detail Skills: • Strong organizational skills and the ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks • High attention to detail and accuracy in document handling and data entry • Ability to plan, organize, execute, and control tasks efficiently • Effective at identifying and resolving issues and prioritizing solutions • Self-initiative and results-oriented mindset while working collaboratively in a team • Adaptable to changing priorities and new technologies • Excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation knowledge • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality Experience: • Minimum 3 years' experience in a customer service or office operations environment • Proven data entry experience is preferred • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic data programs • Experience with administrative tasks and document processing • Experience working under deadlines and managing large workloads effectively Education: • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
