To do so, we must continue shaping the future of communications by applying the best minds to the challenges our customers will continually face.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>We are currently seeking a Product Line Manager to join our Hollow Core Solutions team department in our division located in Sturbridge, to help support our continued business growth.</p> <p>The Product Line Manager is responsible for managing and ensuring the global success of the hollow-core solutions product line within Lightera Specialty Solutions division. They translate customer needs into an actionable program of projects and product releases and manage their execution. They are the central point of integration responsible for both product management and program management responsibilities within the multi-site HCF team.</p> <p>Working closely with our sales team, the PLM will develop a strong understanding of our customers' needs, market trends, and competitor behavior. They will continually monitor the evolution of hollow core technology and ensure that we develop the right products and features to scale the volume and profitability of the product line.</p> <p>The Product Line Manager leads a program of interconnected projects to create and enhance a comprehensive HCF ecosystem, including fiber, cabling, connectivity and installation. They develop business cases, initiate projects and secure related investments and resources. They continually manage risks and resolve conflicts to deliver program objectives at a rapid pace.</p> <p>The selected candidate will be responsible for</p> <p>Major Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage internal multi-site HCF program.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop business cases, scope and initiate and manage projects and programs, secure resources and CAPEX, manage schedule, risks and countermeasures.</p> </li><li> <p>Support sales team to engage with customers and understand their needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform market research and competitor benchmarking</p> </li><li> <p>Develop product roadmaps identifying products and features we will (and will not) pursue</p> </li><li> <p>Manage customer HCF installations / prototypes</p> </li><li> <p>Internal communication regarding status of product line</p> </li><li> <p>External communication of Lightera HCF and other products to enhance our brand, build customer relationships and support cross-selling</p> </li><li> <p>Factory cost and capacity modelling</p> </li><li> <p>Pricing, forecasting sales and reporting results</p> </li><li> <p>Create data sheets, white papers, slide decks. Present to customers and at trade shows.</p> </li></ul> <p>Key Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, project management, marketing or related field</p> </li><li> <p>5 years' experience managing products or projects to meet customer expectations</p> </li><li> <p>Project and program management training, experience and certifications</p> </li><li> <p>g., Agile (ACP, Scrum Master, Product Owner), PMP, PgMP</p> </li><li> <p>Product management training, experience and certifications</p> </li><li> <p>Exceptional communication and presentation skills</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication skills - both internal and external</p> </li><li> <p>Analytical approach to complex problems</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in customer-facing roles and marketing</p> </li><li> <p>Technical knowledge of hollow core fiber ecosystem</p> </li><li> <p>Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes</p> </li><li> <p>Experience developing cost models to understand pricing and profitability</p> </li><li> <p>Up to 20% travel is required.</p> </li></ul> <p>Working at LIGHTERA means having the opportunity to realize ideas, experience innovation and discover new solutions for the future.
