<p>Family Support Specialist - Bilingual Spanish (Part-Time)</p> <p>Antioch, CA</p> <p>Location: On-Site - Antioch, CA</p> <p>Schedule: Part-Time | Non-Exempt</p> <p>Department: Family and Community Services</p> <p>Reports to: Program Supervisor/Program Director</p> <p>Pay Range: $21.50 - $24.50/hour</p> <p>Make a Meaningful Impact</p> <p>Aspiranet, a leading California-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families, is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Family Support Specialist (FSS) to join our Family and Community Services division. In this role, you'll provide case management and home visitation services that support family stability, early child development, and healthy parent-child relationships. By engaging families through personalized services, workshops, and community resources, you'll help ensure children and caregivers have the tools they need to thrive.</p> <p>? Every role at Aspiranet contributes to something greater helping to create a future where opportunity, hope, and healing are within everyone's reach.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Family Support Specialist provides home visitation and case management services to families, ensuring quality programming and adherence to funder and regulatory guidelines. You'll support families through weekly visits, developmental curriculum instruction, community connections, and program engagement activities all while building strong, trusting relationships that empower families and children.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Case Management & Home Visitation</p> <ul> <li>Manage a caseload of enrolled families per agency policy. </li><li>Provide weekly home visits, curriculum-based instruction (GGK, Ages and Stages, etc.), and engagement with pre-enrolled clients. </li><li>Maintain regular contact to support family retention. </li></ul> <p>Family Support & Community Connection</p> <ul> <li>Connect families to community resources and services that promote stability and child development. </li><li>Host and participate in monthly workshops and family engagement activities. </li><li>Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and responsiveness in all interactions. </li></ul> <p>Documentation & Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Complete all required documentation in the database within established timelines. </li><li>Maintain accurate, organized family files and instructional materials. </li><li>Adhere to agency, funder, state, and federal confidentiality standards. </li></ul> <p>Collaboration & Professional Development</p> <ul> <li>Attend team, collaborative, community, and all-staff meetings. </li><li>Participate in required trainings and supervision. </li><li>Maintain CPR/First Aid certification and professional boundaries. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 2 years of experience in home visitation, family services, or child welfare. </li><li>Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Spanish required. </li><li>Must meet all state-required conditions of employment, including: </li><li>Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance </li><li>TB/Health physical </li><li>Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of insurance </li></ul> <p>Work Environment & Schedule</p> <ul> <li>On-site. </li><li>Part-time role. </li></ul> <p>?
