We are a rapidly growing organization, committed to creating life-changing opportunities for over 23,000 students by 2025.</p> <p>THE OPPORTUNITY</p> <p>YES Prep needs a dynamic Manager of Analytics with with a robust set of experiences, to make our mission a reality. As a YES Prep employee, you will achieve jaw-dropping results, create pathways to opportunity for our students, and build transformative relationships.</p> <p>To put it simply, you will be creating and maintaining a portfolio of data visualization reports, leading strategies to take action from data insights, and managing a junior data analyst. You will play an integral role in empowering stakeholders to make data-driven decisions, including daily choices and long-term strategic decisions, by providing accurate, timely, and accessible data and assisting teams to derive insights from the data.</p> <p>THE ROLE</p> <p>When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Working with the Analytics team to scope end-user requirements and project plan for advanced interactive and dynamic data visualizations to meet functional needs; </li><li>Managing a junior Data Analyst; </li><li>Staying atop industry benchmarks to provide context for performance; </li><li>Delivering data, analyses and insights from complex data sets that enable us to drive strategic priorities; </li><li>Working directly with school administration and organizational leadership to gather functional requirements, working with departmental team to synthesize final functional requirements, and working to strategically find solutions to requirements; </li><li>Evaluating data sets to determine best data visualization methods to present information; </li><li>Testing, validating, and evaluating department data visualizations for accuracy, performance, and alignment with end-user requirements; </li><li>Acting as a strategic partner by resolving end-user questions in a timely, friendly, and proactive manner; </li><li>Writing requirements specifications and other required documents in accordance with documentation standards; </li><li>Developing training and end-user support for data visualizations and reports; </li><li>Designing and providing training to organization leadership on the use, manipulation, and analysis of interactive data visualization; </li><li>Additional duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>THE PERSON</p> <p>We seek staff with a multitude of backgrounds, talents, interests, and ideas.
