<p>Description</p> <p>Responsible for producing quality products in a safe, clean, productive manner while meeting daily schedules and customer requirements. Refer to the Standard Operating Procedures, Job Safety Analysis and the Personal Protective Equipment Assessment for job specific requirements by functional area (i.e.; production line, manufacturing, dock).</p> <p>Benefits go into effect on day 1.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: other duties may be assigned as needed.</p> <p>Safety</p> <ul> <li>Adheres to Betco's safety philosophy and follows all safety procedures based on the companies written Safety Management Program. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment. </li><li>Informs Team Lead or Safety Committee member of any potential unsafe situations. </li><li>May participate in Safety Committee meetings. </li></ul> <p>Quality</p> <ul> <li>Follows standard operating procedures and quality systems to ensure quality is built into every product. </li><li>Proactively identifies and addresses process and quality issues to Team lead. </li><li>Has the ability to shut down a line when a non-conformance quality issue is found. </li><li>Will participate with identifying and implementing corrective actions. </li></ul> <p>Housekeeping</p> <ul> <li>Maintains a high level of housekeeping in their assigned work areas. </li><li>Ensure housekeeping is maintained daily, weekly, quarterly following the established housekeeping checklists for respective work area(s). </li><li>Fills out cleaning and sanitizing logs as defined by standard operating procedures. </li></ul> <p>Productivity</p> <ul> <li>Produces the daily production as scheduled in a safe, clean, efficient manner. </li><li>Completes all paperwork as required </li><li>Strives to hit productivity targets for assigned area(s) to meet customer expectations. </li><li>Works with Team Leads to improve efficiencies and minimize downtime. </li><li>Will participate with identifying and implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve goals. </li><li>Will be willing to work overtime as needed to meet customer demand. </li></ul> <p>Training</p> <ul> <li>Participates in required training for job function as identified in training matrix. </li><li>Required to take annual refresher training as indicated by regulations and company policy. </li><li>Training will be conducted in multiple ways such as: On the Job Training, Classroom, Computer, Seminars, etc. </li></ul>
