Position impacts company profitability through maximizing productivity, efficiencies, and quality through the distribution center operations. Position is responsible for making work flow decisions in the absence of a manager.</p> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Forecasting & responding to production volume and manpower needs in order to maximize productivity and ensure quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Training, developing & supervising non-exempt associates.</p> </li><li> <p>Promoting and maintaining high associate morale & safety.</p> </li><li> <p>Coaching and counseling associate performance and attendance issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain established through-put standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Meet budget goals and productivity standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Developing and implementing methods and procedures to improve efficiency and safety of operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining the security of all merchandise and capital equipment in assigned departments.</p> </li><li> <p>Assignment of special projects that relate to the business and/or operations in order to expand knowledge of facility or company.</p> </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent experience</p> </li><li> <p>3-5 years experience in Distribution Center management</p> </li><li> <p>Distribution systems preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Retail Experience preferred</p> </li></ul>
