<p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) from an accredited institution (Required) </li><li>Five or more years of experience in tool making/mold making. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift 40 pounds </li><li>Ability to effectively work / communicate as part of a die making team. </li><li>Functional Math and Trigonometry knowledge </li><li>Thorough knowledge of hydraulic press forming processes </li></ul> <p>While not exposed to hazardous materials, this position requires wearing PPE (personal protection equipment). Following all basic safety precautions will reduce risk of potential injury.</p> <p>Hourly Range: $30-$40/hour approximation (actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location).</p> <p>This position is responsible for the mechanical construction of our molds and dies. This work requires the application of standard stamping die making techniques, procedures, and criteria.</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for leading/monitoring multiple tooling projects concurrently. </li><li>Interpret part &/or tool blueprints to design and determine die making plan. </li><li>Perform operations within very close tolerances. </li><li>Have their own tools and toolbox. </li><li>Ability to work with all levels of cross functional manufacturing team </li><li>Able to safely operate standard tool & die equipment (mill, lathe, grinder, EDM wire/drill, measurement tools) </li></ul>
