<p>The Program Purchasing Buyer is responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Report hierarchically to Program Purchasing Manager </li><li>Supplier kick-off after supplier award is confirmed </li><li>Follow up with suppliers to confirm they can meet timing with J4U NA restart communicated </li><li>Ensure program targets and milestones are met </li><li>Management of the supplier relationship </li><li>BEV cancellation-Manage supplier claims </li><li>Negotiate capacity changes if needed for assigned parts </li><li>IRF PO issuance follow up </li><li>Maintain global sourcing plan and provide charts for leadership </li><li>Improve USMCA numbers </li><li>Detect troubled suppliers and potential shortages as soon as possible and accomplish necessary actions </li><li>Alert Project/ Program Purchasing Manager in case of supplier's failure/ risks, </li><li>Negotiate capacity changes if needed for assigned parts </li><li>Use supporting functions (cost engineering, supply chain) if needed to manage negotiations </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management, IT, or related fields </li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or other disciplines that require significant negotiation and/or exposure to sourcing/project management processes </li><li>Ability to demonstrate past results achievement and leadership skills while working in cross-functional team </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Strong Excel skills </li><li>Must be comfortable interfacing with all levels of management </li><li>Self-motivated </li><li>Ability to lead and take ownership of projects </li><li>Ability to adapt to urgent requests </li></ul>
