Bring your expertise in EHS compliance and desire to work on tough problems, and we'll empower you to deliver the boldest solutions for our clients.</p> <p>Based out of Chicago, Illinois, you will assist a team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers in delivering environmental services on time and within budget for world class projects. You will work with a knowledgeable and supportive group of professional staff as you conduct data analysis including air and greenhouse gas emissions; create technical reports documenting completed activities and results; review regulations and create compliance demonstrations; plan and execute field activities including observations, auditing, soil sampling, and groundwater sampling; support the preparation of environmental permit applications and compliance reports.</p> <p>We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery. We empower employees with our hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations, enabling them to deliver their best work when permitted with client contracts.</p> <p>Here's what you'll need</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering or other closely related technical degree. </li><li>A minimum of three years of professional experience including air quality project experience, including permitting, monitoring, and reporting; water quality project experience, including stormwater and wastewater; waste management and disposal experience; and development of SPCC plan experience. </li><li>Experience support field efforts. </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to continuous development and active engagement in professional networks, company communities of practice groups, or similar. </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with clients, contractors, and teammates. </li><li>Proven organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills. </li><li>Familiarity with state and federal regulations and regulatory processes. </li><li>Ability to travel up to 25%. </li><li>40-hr HAZWOPER certification or the ability to attain this certification. </li><li>US citizenship. </li></ul> <p>Ideally, you'll also have:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering or other closely related technical degree. </li><li>Professional Engineer or Project Management Professional (PE or PMP) or ability to obtain and maintain licensure. </li><li>Familiarity with representing clients to stakeholders, including regulatory agencies. </li><li>Experience as a Project Manager, including scope, schedule, and budget management. </li><li>Experience in developing, reviewing, and implementing work plans and quality assurance project plans. </li><li>Experience with project and account management tools and applications, such as cost pricing, project statusing and tracking, and customer account relationship tools. </li><li>Proven experience developing winning proposals and successfully managing projects with respect to clients, contracts, stakeholders, scope, schedule, budget, diverse teams, quality, risk, change, and profit. </li><li>Demonstrated business development and client service skills, including the ability to identify sales opportunities, lead or participate in sales efforts, close deals, manage scope changes, and write proposals. </li></ul> <p>#LI-AC4</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Minimum</p> <p>91,400.00</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Upper</p> <p>136,000.00</p> <p>Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
