Join us.</p> <p>ATI is currently seeking a Quality Engineer Intern to join our facility located in Cudahy, WI. A successful Quality Engineer Intern is responsible for utilizing engineering talents to support production, reduce cost, reduce variation in our processes, eliminate waste, and minimize opportunities for defects.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in communication with customers to ensure their needs and expectations are met. </li><li>Support the analysis of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and help implement solutions to improve product quality. </li><li>Work with senior Quality Engineers to learn about manufacturing equipment and processes, contributing ideas for improving efficiency and effectiveness. </li><li>Work with the Metallurgical Engineering team to understand critical material properties of our forgings and the importance of fixed and frozen processes. </li><li>Help with the development of Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, and other process documentation to improve efficiency and reduce costs. </li><li>Support cross-functional teams in problem-solving using tools like cause/effect diagrams and Pareto analysis. </li><li>Assist in preparation of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) elements for key account customers. </li><li>Complete AS9100 and AS13100 training. </li><li>Participate in internal and external audits and help maintain certifications (ISO 9001/AS 9100, Nadcap). </li><li>Review and summarize key customer specifications for target accounts. </li></ul>
