<p>The Human Resource Assistant will help manage recruitment, benefits administration and record maintenance for all staff members. Their role is to serve as a contact between the HR department and the rest of the organization. Primarily an administrative and support role, the HR Assistant is often the first point of contact for employees who need help from HR.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Performing administrative duties such as maintaining databases and assisting the employees with questions and assistance as needed. </li><li>Maintaining proper records, updating records and auditing as necessary. </li><li>Submitting online postings and requisitions, interview coordinating and onboarding. </li><li>FMLA and STD Leave administration and compliance </li><li>Data entry and record keeping </li><li>Managing and coordinating schedules for the HR Department </li><li>First point of contact for employees, fielding calls and emails. </li><li>Unemployment claims administration as well as Worker's Compensation. </li></ul> <p>Other Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Employment verifications </li><li>Mail Distribution </li><li>Office supply orders </li><li>Assisting with company meetings and events. </li><li>Administrative tasks such as creating reports, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul>
