<p>Position Summary :</p> <p>The Nursing Faculty - NCLEX Success Coordinator fosters continuous improvement by monitoring outcomes, guiding assessment efforts, and coordinating initiatives that strengthen NCLEX readiness across the curriculum. This role provides targeted student support, collaborates with faculty, integrates standardized and readiness testing, stays current on NCLEX requirements and best practices, and reports key outcomes. The Coordinator demonstrates strong communication skills, deep knowledge of NCLEX expectations, and a commitment to student success and smooth transition to practice. This role is a contracted faculty position that includes 75% NCLEX Coordination and 25% Teaching.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Education - Licensures: The Wisconsin Code and accreditation criteria together require that faculty:</p> <ul> <li>Hold a master's degree in nursing. </li></ul> <p>o Faculty teaching generalist core nursing courses (e.g. issues and trends, research, management, pharmacology, pathophysiology) have advance preparation and/or experience appropriate to the assigned teaching responsibility.</p> <p>o Faculty teaching direct care courses have clinical specialization appropriate to their area of teaching responsibility.</p> <p>o These competency requirements may be obtained through academic credit, institutes, extension courses, continuing education offerings, and experience.</p> <ul> <li>The minimum expectation is a master's degree; however, doctoral preparation in nursing is preferred. Individuals enrolled in an MSN program may be considered. </li><li>Hold a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Wisconsin or Nurse Licensure Compact state. </li><li>In addition, the College has identified the need for competency in applying principles of learning, in teaching, curriculum development, and in the clinical area of assignment. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Have at least two years of full-time or equivalent direct care experience as a practicing nurse. </li><li>Be employed in nursing within the last five years. </li></ul> <p>Apply Now!</p>
