<p>Summary:</p> <p>The Service Administration Assistant (SAA) / Dispatch Specialist works as part of the Service Administration team out of our Rolling Meadows, IL office. The SAA serves as a cross-process support between customers, service administration, and regional technical manager, overseeing service calls.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Managing installations and commissioning by dispatching work orders </li><li>Dispatch Regional Service Partners (RSPs), who accept/reject the dispatch in a portal, and then follow-up is done via phone </li><li>Following up with the Regional Service Partners on current order status </li><li>Professionally communicate service status with customers </li><li>Log all dispatch data and resolutions in Salesforce </li><li>Create quotations for service work in real-time and submit to customers for review </li><li>Review, verify and update assets and parts warranty status and determine business scenario and accounting type based on guidelines </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to work in office 5 days a week in Rolling Meadows, IL office </li><li>Associate's/Bachelor's degree from college or university in Business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and 1-3 years of relevant experience </li><li>Experience with data management, contracts and Salesforce is a plus </li><li>Ability to speak to different levels of people within RATIONAL </li><li>Precise, detail-oriented, with ability to analyze data </li><li>Willingness to assist customers, ability to see the challenges they face, manage, build, and maintain those relationships </li><li>Working knowledge of office automation tools such as E-mail, WWW, Windows, Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and be able to perform basic functions like VLOOKUP </li><li>Typical day is 80% data entry and 20% on the phone </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>The starting salary range for this position is $24.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications and may vary by geographical location. Compensation for this position also includes a bonus.
