Our "Beyond the Restaurant" division is a rapidly growing and crucial part of our business, extending our brand's promise of quality and service through innovative delivery, catering, and mobile solutions.</p> <p>Position Summary: The Senior Director of Operations for Beyond the Restaurant is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the strategic vision, comprehensive oversight, and continuous optimization of all off-premise operations at Chick-fil-A Florissant. This senior leader will drive significant growth, ensure unparalleled guest satisfaction, and uphold Chick-fil-A's brand standards across all delivery, catering, mobile units, and emerging "Beyond the Restaurant" channels. This role demands a seasoned professional capable of leading large teams, managing complex logistics, and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the business.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Strategic Vision & Execution:</p> <ul> <li>Develop, champion, and execute a forward-thinking strategic roadmap for all "Beyond the Restaurant" initiatives, aligning with Chick-fil-A Florissant's overarching business objectives and growth targets. </li><li>Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, technologies, and operational models to expand our off-premise reach and enhance guest experience. </li><li>Lead the implementation of large-scale projects and initiatives designed to scale "Beyond the Restaurant" operations effectively and profitably. </li></ul> <p>Operational Excellence & Innovation:</p> <ul> <li>Provide oversight for daily delivery operations, including advanced logistics management, third-party platform integration, and real-time problem resolution to ensure flawless execution and guest satisfaction. </li><li>Design, implement, and continuously refine best-in-class operational systems and processes for order fulfillment, expediting, and seamless hand-off for all off-premise orders. </li><li>Ensure the consistent delivery of Chick-fil-A's signature Core 4 and 2nd Mile Service, extending our unique hospitality and product quality to every off-premise interaction. </li><li>Oversee comprehensive inventory management, rigorous quality control, and strict adherence to food safety standards across all "Beyond the Restaurant" operations. </li></ul> <p>Team Development & Leadership:</p> <ul> <li>Recruit, mentor, coach, and inspire a high-performing leadership team and Team Members dedicated to "Beyond the Restaurant" operations. </li><li>Cultivate a strong, positive, and values-driven organizational culture that fosters professional growth, accountability, and exceptional service. </li><li>Implement robust training programs and succession planning to build a sustainable talent pipeline for future growth. </li></ul> <p>Performance & Financial Management:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct analysis of operational metrics, guest feedback, and financial performance data to uncover critical insights, drive continuous improvement, and inform strategic decisions. </li><li>Develop and manage comprehensive budgets, forecast financial performance, and implement strategies to optimize profitability and achieve ambitious revenue growth targets for all "Beyond the Restaurant" channels. </li><li>Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness. </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a key strategic partner to the Owner/Operator, GM, and other Directors, ensuring seamless integration of "Beyond the Restaurant" strategies with overall restaurant operations and brand initiatives. </li><li>Foster transparent and effective communication channels across all operational segments to ensure alignment and cohesive execution. </li></ul> <p>Compliance & Risk Management:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure all "Beyond the Restaurant" operations rigorously comply with Chick-fil-A corporate standards, local health codes, and all relevant regulatory requirements. </li><li>Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to thrive and lead effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, and dynamic environment. </li><li>4+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations management. </li><li>Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling delivery, catering, or mobile food service operations. </li><li>Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and business strategies. </li><li>Superior leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and motivate diverse teams. </li><li>Proficiency in operational software, POS systems, logistics platforms, and data analysis tools. </li><li>Unwavering commitment to Chick-fil-A's vision, values, and unparalleled service model. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience in launching new off-premise initiatives or expanding existing ones. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Highly competitive pay </li><li>Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance </li><li>Significant leadership development and growth opportunities </li><li>Dynamic, supportive, and values-driven work environment </li></ul> <p>Working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant is more than a job - it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment.
