<p>DESCRIPTION</p> <p>We are looking for a Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own complex, high-impact projects and programs. This role offers an opportunity to lead strategic and cross-functional initiatives that enhance Amazon Transportation Services and improve the experience of our carrier partners. You will develop and execute scalable solutions, coordinate across multiple teams, and drive measurable business outcomes. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management expertise, and operational execution. You will influence process design, optimize workflows, and communicate effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders to deliver results. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a global network of teams, solve challenging problems, and shape the future of Amazon's transportation ecosystem.</p> <p>Key job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations </li><li>Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions </li><li>Partner with business leaders to allocate resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and drive delivery </li><li>Own program communication, facilitate decision-making, resolve blockers, and escalate as necessary </li><li>Develop and implement KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, using data insights to drive business decisions and improve outcomes </li><li>Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers </li><li>Manage post-launch support plans (e.g., post-mortem, issue/ticket management, etc.) and look for opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence </li><li>Design and deliver carrier-centric solutions, implementing initiatives that simplify carrier onboarding, improve payment accuracy and speed, and reduce operational friction to enhance carrier satisfaction </li><li>Improve workflows to address carrier inquiries, disputes, and escalations promptly, ensuring that carriers can operate seamlessly as Amazon expands </li><li>Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support for carrier partners </li><li>Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership </li></ul> <p>A day in the life</p> <p>Strong cross-team coordination, project management, and executive presentation skills are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering impactful projects so that you can drive measurable improvements for carrier partners and enhance the overall transportation and logistics operations that are the lifeblood of Amazon's business.</p> <p>About the team</p> <p>Amazon is building the earth's best transportation and logistics business. Our people are builders, working tirelessly to serve customers, optimize Amazon's global network, and enable the success of our trusted partners. Within Amazon Transportation Services (ATS), the Carrier Services team plays a key role in supporting carrier partners who transport goods for Amazon. Our team resolves payment issues related to daily freight movements into and out of our North American fulfillment network.
