<p>Summer 2025 Accounting Internship Opportunity</p> <p>Libbey is offering a full time Summer Accounting Internship for a student looking to gain experience in various areas of corporate finance, including corporate accounting & reporting, the Shared Service center, and internal audit. You will also have the opportunity to work with management and participate in special projects during your time with us.</p> <p>Libbey is committed to the development of emerging talent that college students bring. This role will provide you the opportunity to interact with multiple teams and departments within Libbey and gain experience with one of Toledo's most historic companies!</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the month-end close process </li><li>Prepare account reconciliations </li><li>Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries </li><li>Prepare monthly inter-company invoices </li><li>Work closely with the Shared Service team on the billback process, including correcting billback errors and entering new submissions. </li><li>Support Shared Service team by scanning Accounts Payable invoices. </li><li>Compile travel & expense reports to assist with internal audit </li><li>Assist with other projects and duties on an ad-hoc basis </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Junior or Senior college student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance </li><li>Minimum GPA of 3.0 (overall and major) </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications </li><li>Willingness to learn multiple areas within Finance </li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment </li></ul>
