This position is designed to facilitate client growth and well-being through evidence-based counseling techniques and personalized care plans. The Counselor will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop therapeutic goals, and implement interventions that promote mental health and resilience. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and community resources is essential to ensure comprehensive care and support. Ultimately, the Counselor will contribute to improving the quality of life for clients by fostering a safe, supportive, and confidential environment for healing and personal development.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution. </li><li>Valid state licensure or certification as a professional counselor or equivalent credential. </li><li>At least two years of experience providing counseling services in a clinical or community setting. </li><li>Strong knowledge of counseling theories, techniques, and ethical standards. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse client populations. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working within health care or integrated behavioral health settings. </li><li>Training or certification in specialized therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Trauma-Informed Care. </li><li>Bilingual abilities to serve a diverse community. </li><li>Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data management. </li><li>Experience facilitating group therapy or psychoeducational workshops. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and emotional well-being to identify needs and challenges. </li><li>Develop and implement individualized counseling plans using appropriate therapeutic techniques and interventions. </li><li>Provide ongoing counseling sessions to support clients in managing stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. </li><li>Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and community organizations to coordinate care and resources. </li><li>Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. </li><li>Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops as needed to promote mental health awareness. </li><li>Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in counseling and mental health services. </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <p>The required skills enable the Counselor to conduct comprehensive client assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that address individual needs effectively.
