Inspect facility for cleanliness; assist with daily pool, locker room, and deck cleaning. Test water purity and monitor chemical balance; add chemicals as needed.Inspect facility to determine problems prior to opening and closing. Complete Aquatic Quick Checks every two hours and Head Lifeguard report every work shift. Provide encouragement and feedback for aquatic staff to improve staff performance. Develop and enforce pool usage schedules for lap and recreation swimmers. Maintain records of safety and chemical checks.
