<p>Reports To: High School Administration</p> <p>Length of Contract: One Year (190 Days) The Twin Lakes School Corporation work week shall be Saturday thru Friday</p> <p>Position Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate a genuine concern for the learning of children </li><li>Master's Degree in School Psychology and has or will apply at time of employment for a teacher's license from the Indiana Department of Education. </li><li>Holds a valid School Psychologist License issued by the State of Indiana </li><li>Demonstrate a genuine concern for the learning of children </li><li>Excellent Communication and Team Skills </li><li>Strong Organizational Skills </li></ul> <p>Performance Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Uses a variety of models and methods of assessment and data collection for identifying strengths and needs of individual students and the broader school community, developing effective services and programs and measuring progress and outcomes. </li><li>Provides consultation and collaboration with colleagues, students, families and other stakeholders to promote effective implementation of services. </li><li>Participates on the school student support team that collaboratively provides a multi-tiered system of supports through implementation and monitoring of evidence-based behavioral and academic interventions for all students. </li><li>Uses a variety of assessments and data collection methods to implement and evaluate services that support cognitive and academic skills. </li><li>Uses assessment and data-collection methods to implement and evaluate services that support socialization, learning and mental and behavioral health. </li><li>Shares information on practices and strategies to create and maintain effective and supportive learning environments for students and others including positive behavior interventions and supports. </li><li>Participates on case conference committees to provide and explain assessment data of individual student skill set and learning styles along with determining special education eligibility and services. </li><li>Promotes services that enhance learning, mental and behavioral health, safety and physical well-being through protective and adaptive factors and to implement effective crisis preparation, response and recovery. </li><li>Provides effective professional services that promote effective functioning for individuals, families and schools with diverse characteristics, cultures and backgrounds. </li><li>Demonstrates working knowledge of federal law, IDEA, and Indiana state law, Article 7, and provide services consistent with ethical, legal and professional standards. </li></ul> <p>LIFE INSURANCE: Twin Lakes School Corporation provides qualified employees with $50,000 of term life</p> <p>insurance. TLSC pays 100% of this premium minus $1/year paid by the employee.</p> <p>HEALTH INSURANCE: Health insurance is available for eligible employees and is offered through the MASE</p> <p>Insurance Trust. Twin Lakes School Corporation pays $1398 monthly towards a family plan and $644 monthly towards a single plan.</p> <p>DENTAL AND VISION INSURANCE: Eligible employees are offered Dental and Vision insurance. TLSC</p> <p>provides $30 per month towards the premium of a single or family Dental plan and $10 monthly towards a single or family Vision plan.</p> <p>DEPENDENT LIFE is also offered to our employees. The rate for dependent life is $1.50 per month.</p> <p>Coverage provided by dependent life:</p> <p>Spouse: $5000</p> <p>Child 6 mo. to 19 years or 25 if full-time student: $2000</p> <p>Child 14 days to 6 months: $500</p> <p>LONG TERM DISABILITY: TLSC provides a LTD policy should you become disabled and qualify for benefits,</p> <p>your monthly benefit payment would be approximately 66-2/3 of your monthly</p> <p>income. (There is a 90-day elimination period.) TLSC pays 100% of this premium minus</p> <p>$1/year paid by the employee.</p> <p>Retirement Benefits</p> <p>VEBA: (Voluntary Employees' Beneficiary Association) Twin Lakes School Corporation contributes $250</p> <p>annually into an individual VEBA account on behalf of each certified staff member at the completion of each</p> <p>school year. ($350 will be contributed at the completion of the teacher's first year/$250 each year</p> <p>thereafter.) (Subject to a vesting schedule)</p> <p>401(a): Twin Lakes School Corporation will deposit up to 1.5% of the employee's salary into an individual</p> <p>401(a) account on a monthly basis. This is on a matching dollar for dollar basis up to 1.5% of the</p> <p>employee's salary according to the employee's contribution to their 403(b) account. (Subject to a</p> <p>vesting schedule)</p> <p>403(b): A 403(b) is a great way to save for your retirement. An amount chosen by you is deducted from</p> <p>each pay throughout the year and sent to your 403(b) vendor. You must open a 403(b) account to</p> <p>take advantage of the matching dollar for dollar-up to 1.5% of your salary 401(a) contribution by TL.</p> <p>You will also be enrolled in INPRS-TRF. (Indiana Teachers' Retirement Fund)</p>
