Find your future with us.</p> <p>Boeing Test and Evaluation is searching for an Experimental Test Pilot to take the role of Chief Pilot, T-7 and join our team in Berkeley, MO or Edwards AFB, CA. In this role you will lead a team of highly talented test pilots in support of T-7A flight test and production in multiple locations.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Operates aircraft and manages test pilots and first-level managers performing aircrew duties, including activities to prepare for and conduct safe test flight operations; applies crew resource management principles to the operation of aircraft</p> </li><li> <p>Performs and manages activities to plan, conduct and evaluate ground and test flights</p> </li><li> <p>Leads aircrew activities to support design efforts</p> </li><li> <p>Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives</p> </li><li> <p>Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements</p> </li><li> <p>Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports</p> </li><li> <p>Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes</p> </li><li> <p>Manages, develops, trains and evaluates test pilots and first-level managers</p> </li><li> <p>Job requires FAA ATP or Commercial certificate with the appropriate endorsements</p> </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>5+ years of experience supporting a military flight test program</p> </li><li> <p>10+ years of experience in military tactical aviation</p> </li><li> <p>Commercial Certificate or FAA ATP with appropriate endorsements</p> </li><li> <p>Current FAA Class II medical certificate or must have the ability to obtain one</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to pass the U.S. Air Force water survival and physiology training</p> </li><li> <p>Test Pilot School (TPS) Graduate</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>3+ years of experience in aircraft production operations</p> </li><li> <p>Current and qualified in the T-7A or similar tactical training aircraft</p> </li></ul> <p>Drug Free Workplace:</p> <p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>This position is primarily for 1st shift; however, alternate and/or weekend shifts may be required to meet support program objectives.</p> <p>Travel:</p> <p>This position will require travel up to 25%.</p> <p>Pilot Records Database:</p> <p>All pilots will be screened through the current pilot records database process.</p> <p>Pay & Benefits:</p> <p>At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
