<p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>Responsible for the growth and management of a portfolio of large sized business and very complex accounts. Typically manages a portfolio from $40-$70MM.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Serves as business banking relationship manager for large sized business customers, providing them with a full range of financial services products; including loans, deposit services and all related business banking services that 1st Source offers. </li><li>Provides customers with the services/products that result in revenue to meet internal financial goals and control expenses. </li><li>Reviews and analyzes business plans for investment potential and monitors portfolio for quality and returns. </li><li>Provides qualified referrals to colleagues for the services/products that 1st Source offers for which they are the specialists. </li><li>Analyzes and approves credits within prescribed limit, typically handles relationships of $1MM+ and manages a large portfolio. </li><li>Documents bank/customer relationships and commitments. </li><li>Retains and strengthens current relationships and seeks to develop new business. </li><li>Reviews periodically the bank's exposure and relative account profitability. </li><li>Performs financial reviews on a timely basis. </li><li>Complies with bank's loan policies and procedures and legal requirements. </li><li>Performs supervisory responsibilities as requested. </li><li>Must have valid driver's license. </li><li>Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position. </li><li>Completes all compliance training related to the position. </li><li>Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements. </li></ul> <p>NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Prepares reports for internal and external needs as required. </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE/SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Ten (10) or more years Personal Banking or Business Banking sales experience preferred. </li><li>Good PC skills--proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels internally and externally. </li><li>Ability to maintain effective relationships with internal service partners and customers in order to gain their trust and respect. </li><li>Customer service oriented. </li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, or finance is preferred.</p> <p>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Ability to travel to off-site locations for meetings, projects, seminars, etc., as well as ability to travel overnight.</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
