We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.</p> <ul> <li>This position is a hybrid role requiring coming to our Savannah office 2 days a week* </li></ul> <p>Job Description</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL DO</p> <ul> <li>Ensure accurate and timely recording of accounting transactions </li><li>Perform intercompany invoicing, G/L journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations </li><li>Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules </li><li>Manage inventory accounting and reconciliations </li><li>Track and maintain fixed asset schedules </li><li>Execute monthly close processes and financial reporting </li><li>Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports </li><li>Support financial audits by preparing schedules and documentation </li><li>Maintain and update accounting process documentation </li><li>Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL NEED</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA and/or MBA/MA preferred) </li><li>3-7 years of relevant accounting experience </li><li>Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS </li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 tools </li><li>Technologically adept with the ability to learn new systems quickly </li></ul> <p>EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE</p> <ul> <li>Ability to adapt in an agile, fast-paced environment </li><li>Occasional travel may be required </li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills </li></ul> <p>ABOUT US</p> <p>Wallenius Wilhelmsen is an iconic shipping and logistics company with premium end-to-end supply chain management.
