This allows us to take a comprehensive, holistic approach to improving the lives of every person we serve those who receive and those who reap the benefits of our innovative, responsive solutions.</p> <p>Position Title: Social Media and Marketing Intern</p> <p>Schedule Details: Monday - Thursday; 12-15 hours per week</p> <p>Location: Baltimore, MD - In-office internship</p> <p>This is an unpaid internship.</p> <p>Experience and/or Education: Currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related field.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Social Media & Employer Branding</p> <ul> <li>Create engaging, mission-focused content for social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and others as applicable) </li><li>Assist with "Day in the Life," employee spotlight, and behind-the-scenes recruiting content </li><li>Help communicate Chimes' inclusive employment mission through authentic storytelling </li><li>Maintain a social recruiting content calendar aligned with hiring needs and campaigns </li><li>Monitor engagement (likes, shares, comments) and suggest content improvements </li></ul> <p>Social Media Recruiting & Digital Outreach</p> <ul> <li>Support candidate sourcing through social media platforms and digital outreach </li><li>Assist in promoting open roles, hiring events, and large-scale recruiting initiatives </li><li>Help optimize job postings for visibility, clarity, and candidate engagement </li><li>Support referral and community-based recruiting campaigns </li></ul> <p>Recruiting Operations Support</p> <ul> <li>Assist recruiters with candidate tracking, screening coordination, and follow-ups </li><li>Support interview scheduling and candidate communications </li><li>Help ensure job postings and outreach align with contract requirements and inclusive hiring practices </li></ul> <p>Recruitment Metrics & Insights</p> <ul> <li>Help track basic recruiting and social engagement metrics </li><li>Assist with identifying which platforms or content types generate candidates </li><li>Support documentation updates for recruiting SOPs and outreach guidelines </li></ul> <p>Community Engagement & Events</p> <ul> <li>Support promotion of job fairs, hiring events, and workforce partnership initiatives </li><li>Assist with outreach to community organizations, workforce partners, and military installations </li><li>Represent Chimes professionally at hiring events or community engagements when appropriate </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Business, or a related field </li><li>Strong interest in social media, storytelling, and digital content creation </li><li>Comfortable writing captions, short posts, and basic recruitment-focused messaging </li><li>Familiarity with major social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) </li><li>Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities </li><li>Passion for mission-driven or community-focused work </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Experience creating content for social media (personal, academic, or professional) </li><li>Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar design tools </li><li>Interest in recruiting, employer branding, or workforce development </li><li>Comfort appearing on camera or conducting short interviews (optional, not required) </li><li>Interest in disability services or inclusive employment initiatives </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU'LL GAIN</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience in social recruiting and employer branding </li><li>Exposure to recruiting within federal and state contract environments </li><li>Real-world content featured on organizational recruiting platforms </li><li>Mentorship from experienced Talent Acquisition and Operations leaders </li><li>Experience supporting workforce development and inclusive hiring initiatives </li><li>A strong foundation for careers in recruiting, HR, marketing, or communications </li></ul> <p>What's in it for you?</p> <p>Total Rewards (For Full-Time Employees = >30 hours/week):</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Pay </li><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement options </li><li>Flexible Spending Accounts (Health, Dependent, and Transportation) </li><li>Life Insurance </li><li>Disability Insurance </li><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>403(b) with Employer Match </li><li>Employee Recognition Programs </li><li>Employee Referral Bonus opportunities </li><li>Discounts through "Tickets at Work" </li><li>And More! </li></ul> <p>Want to learn more?</p> <p>To learn more about Chimes, and how you can achieve personal and professional growth within a purpose-driven organization, visit us at: https://chimes.org/Careers.</p> <p>#cmd410</p>
