<p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Dental insurance </li><li>Health insurance </li><li>Vision insurance </li></ul> <p>Albatross Ventures is currently seeking an experienced Equipment Operator with Class A CDL.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <ul> <li>Operates construction, excavating and loading equipment and heavy machinery including mini excavators, skid steers, winch dozers, clean up dozers and backhoes. </li><li>Effectively completes excavation related tasks by using appropriate equipment. </li><li>Transports tools and other construction equipment to and from construction sites. </li><li>Inspects, fuels and performs routine vehicle maintenance prior to beginning shift. </li><li>Consults digging plans, machine specifications, and safety procedures for specific tasks. </li><li>Ensures work is completed to specification by observing grade stakes, material levels, hand signals, and other markers. </li><li>Performs routine maintenance and repairs. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Extensive knowledge of machinery operation and capabilities. </li><li>Ability to read site plans related to land grades. </li><li>Ability to complete safety awareness training. </li><li>Mechanical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to follow instructions. </li><li>Flexibility to operate multiple types of equipment. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred. </li><li>Vocational school training or apprenticeship preferred. </li><li>CDL class A license required (Tankers Endorsement Preferred) </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Prolonged periods of operating machinery. </li><li>Must be able to operate machinery in all weather conditions and terrains. </li><li>Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas. </li><li>Must be able to work in different temperatures and changing weather conditions. </li></ul>
