FirstChoice Leaders fill vital interim leadership roles across our nationwide healthcare system, providing support where it's needed most.</p> <p>LOCATION: St. Peter's Hospital, Albany, NY</p> <p>START: ASAP</p> <p>WEEKS: 13</p> <p>HOURS: 40</p> <p>Gross Weekly Rate: $4400.00</p> <ul> <li>Non-Benefited Position* </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide operational leadership for the MedSurg unit, ensuring optimal patient care and staff performance. </li><li>Manage staffing, scheduling, hiring, training, and performance evaluations for nursing and support staff. </li><li>Develop departmental plans aligned with organizational priorities and clinical objectives. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Trinity Health policies and standards. </li><li>Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment through effective communication and authentic leadership. </li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan for long-term patient care needs. </li><li>Drive outcomes through daily management of resources and continuous process improvement. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current RN New York Licensure. </li><li>A minimum of 3 years of manager experience. </li><li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. </li><li>Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. </li><li>Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), prior leadership experience, and relevant certifications. </li><li>Valid driver's license (if required by assignment). </li></ul> <p>Skills & Attributes</p> <ul> <li>Strong leadership and team-building skills. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Commitment to ethical, professional, and safe work practices. </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment</p> <p>Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
