<p>Kitting Technician - Day Shift</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Kitting Technician fabricates and assembles plastic sheeting products by performing various manufacturing and assembly duties in a warehouse production environment.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen. </li><li>Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures. Must be able to understand and act on verbal instructions in English. </li><li>Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including fractions and decimals. Must accurately use measuring tools (e.g., rulers, tape measures). </li><li>Reasoning Ability: Able to follow written, oral, and diagram instructions. Capable of problem-solving in standardized situations. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling (4-6 hours per day) </li><li>Frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs </li><li>Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, crouch, and crawl as needed </li><li>Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as focus adjustment </li></ul> <p>Work Environment & Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Warehouse environment: cool in winter, warm in summer </li><li>Possible light water spray used to hydrate products in the kitting area </li><li>Attendance points system in place </li><li>Steel-toe shoes required (not provided) </li><li>Safety vest, glasses, hairnet, and beard net (if needed) provided </li><li>No jewelry permitted (FOD - Foreign Object Debris compliance) </li><li>Lockers available (bring your own lock if desired) </li><li>Dress code: long pants required (no holes or frayed edges, non-see-through athletic pants acceptable); no inappropriate or revealing clothing </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>We value team members who are: </li><li>Team players with respect for coworkers and the workplace </li><li>Strong communicators with efficient, clear communication skills </li><li>Dependable and committed to maintaining a safe, productive work environment </li></ul>
