<p>Delivers materials to job site, inspects and maintains truck, reports shortages and claims to supervisor and assists in loading and storing of materials. Not a CDL driver but may require some certification depending on state law.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) </li><li>Help with ensuring correct material is pulled and loaded on our truck for delivery </li><li>Deliver materials to the job site </li><li>Recording selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating procedures </li><li>Ensuring correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed </li><li>Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization </li><li>Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers </li><li>Operate and preventively maintain warehouse equipment </li><li>Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations </li><li>Working in accordance with all warehouse safety regulations </li><li>Load finished product onto truck </li><li>Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager regarding the warehouse or deliveries </li><li>Navigate equipment through a warehouse to collect customer orders </li><li>Other relative duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum Education - High School diploma or GED </li><li>Forklift certification preferred </li><li>Clean driving record and current operator's license </li><li>At least 21 years of age to drive for the company </li><li>Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Experience driving trucks for delivery </li><li>Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware preferred </li><li>Good communication skills - Proper use of company issued devices </li><li>Ability to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms </li><li>Ability to work closely & cordially with other staff associates </li></ul>
