<p>Job Summary</p> <p>We're seeking an experienced Onshore Device Management Architect to lead the design and implementation of our device management platform, leveraging DevOps practices, CPE expertise, and RDK knowledge. As a Device Management Architect, you will oversee the development of scalable, secure, and efficient device management solutions, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design and implement device management architectures for CPE devices using RDK </li><li>Lead the development of DevOps practices for device management, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous monitoring </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of device management with existing infrastructure </li><li>Develop and maintain technical documentation for device management architectures and solutions </li><li>Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members </li><li>Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in device management, DevOps, and RDK </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of experience in device management, DevOps, or a related field </li><li>Strong knowledge of CPE devices, RDK, and device management protocols like DHCP, TFTP, SNMP, TR-069, TR-369 </li><li>Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git </li><li>Programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or C++ </li><li>Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills </li><li>Experience with cloud-based device management platforms </li><li>Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes </li><li>Required to be onsite </li></ul> <p>Nice to Have</p> <ul> <li>RDK-B certifications </li><li>DevOps certifications like DevOps Foundation Certification or Certified DevOps Engineer </li><li>Experience working in a cable MSO with knowledge on DOCSIS/Fiber Plant/Infrastructure/CPE </li></ul> <p>Salary and Other Compensation:</p> <p>The annual salary for this position is between $115K - $1150K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.</p> <p>This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.</p> <p>Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance </li><li>Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off </li><li>401(k) plan and contributions </li><li>Long-term/Short-term Disability </li><li>Paid Parental Leave </li><li>Employee Stock Purchase Plan </li></ul> <p>Disclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
