<p>Posting Number 0801791 Classification Title Assistant Athletic Trainer Working Title Department Athletics Department Contact Email kabrown@centralstate.edu Job Summary/Basic Function</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>Central State University seeks a dedicated Part-Time Athletic Trainer to support the sports medicine program and assist in providing quality healthcare for student-athletes across 13 NCAA Division II programs. This position reports directly to the Head Athletic Trainer and contributes to injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and game/practice coverage as assigned.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist with injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation programs. </li><li>Provide on-site coverage for practices, home competitions, and occasional travel as assigned. </li><li>Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with NCAA, SIAC, NATA, and CSU standards. </li><li>Support the Head Athletic Trainer with administrative duties, inventory management, and implementing sports medicine protocols. </li><li>Communicate injury updates and treatment plans to coaches and student-athletes. </li><li>Collaborate with team physicians and medical partners under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field. </li><li>BOC Certification. </li><li>Eligible for Ohio AT licensure. </li><li>CPR, First Aid, AED certified. </li><li>1-3 years of athletic training experience (collegiate preferred). </li><li>Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree. </li><li>Experience in NCAA or Division II setting. </li></ul> <p>Posting Date 12/10/2025 Closing Date Open Until Filled Yes Special Instructions to Applicants Position Category Staff - Monthly (Exempt) Budgeted Annual Salary Commensurate with experience</p>
