An integral part of the patient care team, the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist is responsible for providing many delegated clinical services, participating in team discussions and decisions about patient care, educating patients and families, and assuring proper application and compliance with various clinical initiatives. Involvement in various professional education activities, including work with students from the local College of Pharmacy and staff pharmacist development and mentoring is also expected.
