<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Student Support Services/LD/BD Resource</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>2/17/2026</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Special Education</p> <p>  Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or Teacher on Special Assignment w/ BCBA License</p> <p>Full Time: 1.0</p> <p>Location: Special Education/Pupil Personnel Services</p> <p>Effective Date: July 1, 2026</p> <p>Salary: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA): $95,000 $105,000 or Teacher on Special Assignment w/ BCBA License: BTA Salary Scale</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) plays a critical role in supporting students, educators, and school teams through the development and implementation of evidence-based behavioral and academic support strategies. The BCBA conducts functional behavior assessments, creates behavior intervention plans, provides professional development for staff, and ensures that interventions align with students' individualized education programs (IEPs). This position requires an independent, motivated self-starter with strong experience in both clinical and school settings.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop and oversee Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Monitor progress through systematic data collection and analysis and provide both direct and consultative support to staff. </li><li>Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and IEP teams to develop goals, accommodations, and intervention strategies. Provide coaching and professional development in behavior analysis, classroom management, and positive behavior supports. </li><li>Support school-wide initiatives such as PBIS and MTSS, strengthen behavioral systems and crisis intervention protocols, refine data-tracking systems, and maintain documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements, ensuring ethical practice aligned with BACB guidelines. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualification:</p> <ul> <li>Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential. </li><li>Demonstrated experience providing behavior analytic services in clinical and/or school settings. </li><li>Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>NYS Special Education certification or teaching background. </li><li>Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field. </li><li>Experience with PBIS or MTSS implementation. </li><li>Experience coaching educational or clinical staff. </li><li>Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and educational compliance standards. </li></ul> <p>This position follows the school calendar, while also being required to work a minimum of ten (10) days in the summer</p>
