<p>Job Description</p> <p>Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III to join our Structures and Bridge Design Group in Raleigh, NC. This is a great opportunity to work on routine and complex structures including bridge, building, renewable energy and ancillary structure designs.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Perform rehabilitation designs for bridges and buildings </li><li>Conduct bridge load ratings and evaluations </li><li>Support project planning including scope, schedule, and budget development </li><li>Assist in project and task management </li><li>Contribute to marketing efforts and proposal development </li></ul> <p>Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred) </li><li>2+ years of experience in structural and/or bridge design </li><li>PE License is a plus </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation, and NCDOT standards </li><li>Proficiency in structural design software </li><li>Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD for plan development </li><li>NBIS bridge inspection certification is a plus </li></ul>
