This role is responsible for driving analytic project delivery, shaping data strategy and translating large, complex datasets into actionable insights for business partners and leaders. The individual in this role may also function as a team lead (non-people manager).The ideal candidate has a strong background in medical claims data, SQL and Python development, analytical methodologies, and data visualization. This role requires exceptional communication, planning, and cross-functional leadership skills.This is an individual contributor roleKey ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of SQL and Python analytics to support SIU metrics, reporting, and investigative insightTranslate large datasets into meaningful narratives that support decision-making and operational improvements.Create clear, compelling data visualizations and narratives for technical and non-technical audiencesLead cross-functional project workstreams and act as the central coordinator for analytics-related deliverables across SIU and partner teamsCoach team members on performance measurement, KPI usage, and analytic best practicesCollaborate with business partners to understand requirements, impacts, and opportunitiesDrive enhancements to data processes, system infrastructure, and reporting capabilities.This is a work-from-home position in the US. supporting standard east coast business hours.Required Qualifications7-10 years work experienceHealthcare background7+ years of analytics or data management experience2+ years of experience in SQL, PythonSolid understanding of medical claim dataDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiativesExceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skillsStrong organizational, planning, and problem-solving capabilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience working with medical claims data and healthcare analyticsFWA, SIU or health insurance operations experienceKnowledge of healthcare claims adjudication & provider informationProficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)We support a hybrid work environment. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
