The teacher may deliver independent study instruction, targeted literacy and math intervention, and career readiness coaching, including resume writing and job search strategies. The role may also involve small-group instruction, digital literacy support, and English as a Second Language/English Language Development (ESL/ELD) instruction. This position is designed to adapt to the diverse learning goals of adult students while supporting their progress toward high school completion and career advancement. Must hold an appropriate California Teaching Credential; Multiple or Single Subject; Must have English Learner (EL) Authorization; Valid Class C California Driver's License; Valid TB Test.</p> <p>Location: This is an itinerant position and may carry a caseload of students at one or more of the following locations: Career Advancement Charter North County, Career Advancement Charter South County, and Santa Cruz Corrections or Probation. May be required to work afternoon and evenings based on student need. Employees have a choice between various medical plans. Each plan may have an employee premium contribution amount for which the employee can utilize a tax sheltered Section 125 Plan. The COE contribution is prorated based on FTE. This position is grant-funded, with funding reviewed annually by March 15 to determine continuation for the following school year.</p>
