<p>Position Title:</p> <p>Customer Relations Coordinator II - Reiman Gardens</p> <p>Job Group:</p> <p>Professional & Scientific</p> <p>Required Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Experience utilizing registration systems for activities such as creating tickets for events, assisting customers with booking reservations, etc.</p> <p>Experience using point of sale systems along with cash handling</p> <p>Experience in guest services</p> <p>Experience coordinating events and/or special projects</p> <p>Experience with outreach activities such as creating relationships with volunteers/partners in the community, working a table at outreach events, etc.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Are you looking for a part-time position that offers excellent benefits? Are you in interested in working in a collaborative team environment?</p> <p>If so, Reiman Gardens is seeking qualified candidates for a Customer Relations Coordinator II position to support our Event and Guest Services team! This position plays a critical role in the customer service interactions and consultation for special event partners, volunteers and guests. The Customer Relations Coordinator II at Reiman Gardens will support areas such as Events, Guest Services, and the Gift Shop.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support event and guest services teams by consulting with special event partners, volunteers and guests, including but not limited to, event guests, volunteers, vendors, musicians, food services, local businesses and outside partners.</p> </li><li> <p>Consult, advise and recommend services related to special events, rentals and daily visitation.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide excellent customer relations and collect data on guest satisfaction.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct outreach for potential clients, partners and vendors for special events and programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the management of contracts, invoices, billing, payments and orders for special events in accordance with established policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with creating marketing content for special projects and events.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate special event logistics.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide support to the guest services and gift shop team by assisting with marketing, promotion, inventory, and sourcing.</p> </li></ul> <p>This is a part-time position at 25 hours/week.</p> <p>This position will require occasional night and weekend hours.</p> <p>Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.</p> <p>About Reiman Gardens:</p> <p>With its stunning gateway to Iowa State University, Reiman Gardens enchants, educates, and inspires environmental stewardship through displays of living beauty.
