The ideal candidate will bring strong communication and analytical skills, self-awareness, and a commitment to operational excellence that aligns with both PAR and our customers.</p> <p>This role will play a key part in administering financial programs, maintaining accurate records, ensuring policy compliance, and supporting continuous improvements across Treasury operations.</p> <p>Position Location:</p> <p>New Hartford, New York (Hybrid). Tuesdays & Wednesdays in office.</p> <p>Reports To:</p> <p>Manager, Treasury</p> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>2-3 years of experience in cash application or a related accounting role</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent work experience is also acceptable</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to resolve payment discrepancies</p> </li><li> <p>Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with customers and internal teams</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O</p> </li><li> <p>Flexible, adaptable, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment</p> </li><li> <p>Self-motivated with a willingness to pursue continuing education or training as needed</p> </li></ul> <p>Additional skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience managing corporate card programs</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with internal control procedures and reconciliation processes</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to design and interpret reporting metrics for transparency and performance</p> </li><li> <p>Comfort troubleshooting and training end users on finance tools and policies</p> </li></ul> <p>Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:</p> <p>Cash & Card Financial Program Administration:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Accurately record and apply customer payments including check, ACH, wire, and credit card transactions</p> </li><li> <p>Reconcile daily cash receipts and card statements with bank records</p> </li><li> <p>Post activity to the general ledger and ensure customer account accuracy</p> </li></ul> <p>Corporate Card Program Management:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Administer card applications, monitor usage, and identify potential misuse</p> </li><li> <p>Respond to cardholder inquiries and provide training on card policies</p> </li><li> <p>Design and maintain reports to support program transparency and compliance</p> </li></ul> <p>Customer Support & Collaboration:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain integrity of customer accounts and resolve account discrepancies</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data</p> </li><li> <p>Support reconciliations and assist internal audit teams as required</p> </li></ul> <p>Policy Compliance & Continuous Improvement:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain strong internal controls and data security practices</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure all processes align with company policies and drive adherence</p> </li><li> <p>Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain documentation to support program administration and audits</p> </li></ul> <p>Interview Process:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Interview #1: Phone Screen with Talent Acquisition Team</p> </li><li> <p>Interview #2: Video interview with the Hiring Manager (via MS Teams)</p> </li><li> <p>Interview #3: Video interview with the Chief Accounting Officer (via MS Teams)</p> </li></ul> <p>PAR is proud to provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
