<p>Mechatronics Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Support the production process with direction from the engineers responsible for the project, ensuring seamless operations and efficiency.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide daily support for manufacturing process equipment and controls. </li><li>Solve onsite problems in real time. </li><li>Communicate effectively with engineering and maintenance staff to address and resolve issues. </li><li>Monitor and collect data to support improvement activities. </li><li>Schedule and run trial parts for testing and analysis. </li><li>Submit parts to the testing lab for detailed analysis. </li><li>Develop and modify robot programs for optimized performance. </li><li>Troubleshoot equipment issues using PLC monitoring software. </li><li>Ensure safe work practices in compliance with policies, maintaining awareness of safety for self and others. </li><li>Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). </li><li>Proficiency in robotic programming, specifically point-to-point adjustments. </li><li>Experience in mechatronics, robotics, and PLC troubleshooting. </li><li>1-3 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer, preferably in the automotive industry. </li><li>Understanding of process/continuous improvement, troubleshooting equipment, process documentation, work instructions, and tooling. </li><li>Ability to speak to projects managed within a plant. </li><li>Experience in troubleshooting and improving automated processes, including PLCs, Vision systems, and Robotics. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate's Degree in Mechatronics, pre-engineering, or a related field, or three plus years of manufacturing experience. </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, with a preference for Mechatronics. </li><li>Experience with PLCs (Omron, Mitsubishi, Siemens), Robots/Cobots (FANUC, ABB, Motoman), and Vision systems (KEYENCE). </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The candidate will start on the 1st shift before transitioning to the 2nd shift, with hours from 2:00pm to 10:30pm.
