Learn more at www.cognizant.com.</p> <p>Role Summary</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced AI Security Architect to lead secure AI architecture design, advanced threat modeling, and identity orchestration initiatives across enterprise AI environments. This role serves as a critical technical bridge between Cybersecurity leadership and offshore delivery teams, ensuring AI systems and autonomous agents adhere to enterprise, regulatory, and FedRAMP security standards.</p> <p>This role follows a hybrid work model (3 days onsite) and is based in Jersey City, NJ or New York City, NY.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct secure AI architecture reviews for internal and third-party AI platforms. </li><li>Lead threat modeling workshops leveraging MITRE ATLAS and OWASP AIMA frameworks. </li><li>Define identity orchestration strategies for non-human identities and AI agents, including SailPoint integration. </li><li>Serve as the primary technical liaison between Cybersecurity leadership and offshore engineering teams. </li><li>Establish agent governance models, Trust Zones, and behavioral monitoring controls. </li><li>Promote secure Dev/Test/Prod pipelines with inherited security guardrails. </li><li>Automate security controls using Terraform, Bicep, Azure Policy, Key Vault, and Azure Sentinel. </li><li>Support audit readiness, POA&M management, and regulatory assessments. </li><li>Configure and manage Azure Sentinel SIEM detections and incident response workflows. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Extensive experience in cybersecurity architecture with focus on AI and emerging technologies. </li><li>Hands-on expertise in secure AI architecture design and design reviews. </li><li>Proven leadership in threat modeling using MITRE ATLAS and OWASP AIMA. </li><li>Strong experience managing non-human identities and secrets orchestration. </li><li>Hands-on experience with Azure-native security tooling and automation. </li><li>Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead globally distributed teams. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience operating within FedRAMP or highly regulated environments. </li><li>Strong understanding of autonomous agents, AI safety patterns, and governance. </li><li>Experience with SIEM engineering and security analytics. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Salary expectations for this role </li></ul> <p>Why Choose Cognizant?</p> <ul> <li>Work on enterprise-scale AI security initiatives. </li><li>Collaborative, inclusive, and innovation-driven culture. </li><li>Continuous learning and certification opportunities. </li></ul> <p>Salary and Other Compensation:</p> <ul> <li>The annual salary for this position is between 120-155K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. </li><li>This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. </li></ul> <p>Employee Status</p> <p>Full Time</p> <p>Work Model</p> <p>Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite</p> <p>Location</p> <p>Jersey City, NJ or New York City, NY</p> <p>Shift</p> <p>Day Job</p> <p>Travel</p> <p>As Needed</p> <p>EEO Statement</p> <p>Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
