<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Administrative/Assistant Principal</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>5/1/2026</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Hoffman Estates High School</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>07/01/2026</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>05/08/2026</p> <p>  Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>NOTICE OF VACANCY</p> <p>ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL</p> <p>Job Goal: The 12-month Assistant Principal for Township High School District 211, reporting directly to the Principal, will work to support and advance student academic achievement and growth by leading data-driven systems that include attendance, behavior, and academic performance; strengthening instructional leadership and staff effectiveness; while ensuring safe, efficient school operations that promote equitable outcomes for all students.</p> <p>Primary Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Monitor and address student academic performance, attendance and behavior for a caseload of students </li><li>Serve as a facilitator for the school's MTSS teams </li><li>Oversee Tier II and Tier III Interventions </li><li>Serve as a member of the school's administrative and leadership teams, and other committees as assigned by the principal </li><li>Coordinate and support the instructional leadership of assigned academic departments by collaborating with department chairs </li><li>Conduct licensed staff and support staff evaluations </li><li>Participate in the planning and execution of safety drills and serve as a key point of contact for safety operations </li><li>Supervise after-school extracurricular events </li><li>Assist the principal in the day-to-day operations of the school </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications for District 211 Assistant Principal Applicants</p> <p>District 211 is seeking candidates who:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of three years of successful experience as a licensed educator </li><li>Hold a current Illinois Professional Educator License with an administrative endorsement or be enrolled in a program that will result in endorsement before August 2026 </li><li>Able to meet the requirements as a PERA-qualified evaluator by August 2026 </li><li>Demonstrate a commitment to student achievement and school improvement </li><li>Understand how to work collaboratively to set goals and produce results </li><li>Celebrate diversity within a school community </li><li>Demonstrate evidence of excellent communication skills and cultivation of meaningful relationships with students, staff and families </li></ul> <p>Application</p> <p>Interested candidates must complete an online application (https://adc.d211.org/employment)</p> <p>Salary Range</p> <p>$138,645 to $159,185</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Administrator Compensation and Benefit Package</p>
