<p>Title: IC&E Turbine Technician</p> <p>Position Type: Direct Hire</p> <p>Location: Wisconsin</p> <p>Reports to: Operations Supervisor</p> <p>Status: Non-exempt</p> <p>Key Project Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Strong hands-on experience with electrical systems or instrumentation & control in a power generation or industrial environment. </li><li>Working knowledge of combustion turbine operations, maintenance practices, and performance monitoring. </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair instrumentation, control systems, and electrical components using blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications. </li></ul> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>NAES is seeking a Combustion Turbine Technician to support operations at a Simple Cycle combustion turbine facility in Neenah, Wisconsin. The Technician will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties related to the safe and reliable operation, inspection, and maintenance of combustion turbine systems, with an emphasis on electrical and instrumentation/control (I&C) systems. The ideal candidate will bring a strong electrical background and a collaborative, safety-first mindset to support power generation operations in compliance with regulatory and company standards.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Operate and monitor combustion turbines and auxiliary equipment in accordance with safety and environmental regulations. </li><li>Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and routine maintenance on electrical and I&C systems. </li><li>Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance using Maximo or similar CMMS systems. </li><li>Calibrate and maintain instrumentation, control systems, and performance monitoring equipment. </li><li>Maintain accurate logs of plant operations, equipment conditions, and maintenance activities. </li><li>Support water treatment operations, including chemical handling and system performance testing. </li><li>Operate mobile and heavy equipment to assist with maintenance activities. </li><li>Collaborate with internal teams and contractors during equipment installation and repairs. </li><li>Perform light welding and mechanical repairs as needed. </li><li>Participate in safety meetings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. </li><li>Maintain plant cleanliness and adhere to all safety policies and procedures. </li><li>Provide support to other generating facilities as required. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Strong background in electrical or instrumentation and control (I&C) systems. </li><li>Familiarity with combustion turbine operation and maintenance. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications. </li><li>Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical aptitude. </li><li>High level of personal and technical responsibility. </li><li>Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team. </li><li>Valid driver's license required. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods. </li><li>Ability to operate heavy and mobile equipment. </li><li>Capable of wearing required PPE and working in varying environmental conditions. </li></ul> <p>Education / Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Associate Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation & Control Technology required </li><li>4+ years experience in electrical, mechanical, or I&C trades, OR </li><li>2+ years of experience in combustion turbine operations and maintenance. </li><li>Completed apprenticeship in a related trade is a plus. </li><li>Demonstrated up-to-date electrical or I&C field experience is required. </li></ul>
