<p>SUMMARY OF JOB:</p> <p>Responsible for supporting assigned lenders and commercial bankers in all phases of processing and servicing loans by providing administrative and operational support. Strong understanding of board policies, department guidelines, and banking regulations. Handles routine customer questions and inquiries, collects required documentation, prepares correspondence, and answers incoming phone calls and emails. Works with the lender to obtain required documentation for all new loan requests and assists with ongoing monitoring and reporting related to the business loan portfolio. Expected to assist in enhancing the relationship with the business members throughout the life of the loan and cultivating new loan opportunities.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITES:</p> <ul> <li>Work directly with lenders, credit approvers and loan operations to ensure loan documents are prepared in accordance with credit approval, loan documentation standards, and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Act as a resource for identifying and resolving more complex customer service issues. </li><li>Ensure compliance with security and audit procedures. </li><li>Maintain current knowledge and follow all bank financial and security regulations and procedures. </li><li>Embody, embrace, and demonstrate InBank's Core Values: Commitment, Innovation, Responsibility, Teamwork, Happiness, and Authenticity. </li><li>Familiarity in reviewing corporate organizational documents, UCC filings and deeds of trusts. </li><li>Experience with attorney prepared and LaserPro loan documents. </li><li>Expedience in real estate closings. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple loan closings. </li></ul> <p>SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Customer Service: Strong emphasis on excellent customer service skills; ability to work effectively with both internal and external contacts. Maintains confidentiality in handling customer and bank information.</p> <p>Financial: Familiarity with financial terms and practices; mathematical calculations.</p> <p>Administrative Duties: Not Applicable</p> <p>Autonomy: Discretion for recognizing and minimizing risk to the bank.</p> <p>Employees Supervised: Not Applicable</p> <p>Budget Responsibility: Not Applicable</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma; College Degree Preferred </li></ul> <p>Work Experience:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in retail banking or financial services </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Not Applicable </li></ul> <p>Licenses/Accreditations:</p> <ul> <li>Not Applicable </li></ul> <p>Computer Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; 10-Key by touch is preferable </li></ul> <p>Other Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Basic knowledge and understanding of state and federal lending laws; strong understanding of environmental and appraisal policies and procedures. </li><li>Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and priorities. </li><li>Ability to foster teamwork. </li><li>Ability to effectively discern information and formulate appropriate action. </li><li>Ability to think critically and provide appropriate solutions. Detail-oriented; decision-making capabilities. </li><li>Must be able to use fingers, hands, and wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, handling paper, and operating a telephone. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills/ Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy; professional and courteous communication skills. </li><li>Strong oral, written customer service skills </li></ul>
