This position is responsible for receiving inventory and to store, distribute and return the products. The position serves as the point of contact for the receipt and distribution of materials with frequent contact with delivery personnel, agency representatives, maintenance supervisors and the public.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Utilize TMA as the managing software system for the warehouse to receive and issue materials and supplies in the warehouse. Inputs deliveries and issuing of supplies & parts in a timely manner. Must pay attention to detail to ensure critical parts and supplies are available for emergency issues </li><li>Delivers supplies and parts from the warehouse to other State Office Buildings and warehouse customers. Valid Driver's License is required to make deliveries. </li><li>Receive deliveries and process them for storage or issuing to customers. Stocks incoming parts and supplies in appropriate location. Rotates stock to ensure oldest items are issued first. </li><li>Contact customers when orders are ready for pickup. Ensures accuracy of orders and retains signed copies of issuing paperwork. Use phone and computer to notify customers that their parts or supply order is ready for pickup. Certain supplies will be delivered from the warehouse to our internal customers. </li><li>Clear and concise communication when dealing with customers, vendors, suppliers, truck/delivery drivers to ensure order accuracy. On the spot resolution of discrepancies between amounts ordered and amounts received. Must exhibit exceptional customer service. </li><li>Assists in inventory management by conducting weekly 10% inventory and report discrepancies to the warehouse manager. Use TMA or other computer software to generate reports for the Warehouse Manager. Assists the Warehouse Manager to find out why discrepancies are occurring and to implement changes to prevent recurrences. </li><li>Cleans and maintains the appearance of the dock and warehouse work areas. Monitors the trash compactor and calls in work orders when it needs emptied. Ensure that packing/shipping materials are recycled or disposed of immediately as per protocol. </li><li>Assists in invoice reconciliation by reviewing invoices for accuracy, for 100% receipt of order items, to check on back ordered items, and subsequent forwarding to OFPM for payment. </li><li>Participates in a variety of special project/tasks as designated the warehouse manager. Promotes an attitude of cooperation and teamwork with all customers. Must be reliable and at work for all scheduled shifts due to critical work being conducted by the warehouse to support customers. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>6 months experience working in a warehouse environment or as an administrative assistant </li><li>Valid Driver's License </li><li>Able to lift and carry objects weighing 50 lbs </li></ul> <p>Post Offer Requirement:</p> <p>Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate: A valid Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate is a condition of employment for all employees of the State of Kansas.
