This role will involve responding to client briefs, working alongside project management and the broader design team to develop innovative concepts. Once a design is chosen, you will oversee its execution, ensuring it is brought to final artwork. This includes managing any tailor-made elements such as photography or illustration.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop innovative and visually stunning designs for digital and print media, including websites, social media, marketing materials, tradeshows, and advertisements. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including communications, marketing, and product, to create cohesive and impactful designs. </li><li>Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. </li><li>Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, goals, and timelines. </li><li>Maintain and evolve the company's visual identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. </li><li>Contribute to the development of brand strategies and campaigns through creative input and design expertise. </li><li>Review and refine designs to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with project objectives. </li><li>Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design processes and outcomes. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications/Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. </li><li>5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects. </li></ul> <p>Desired Characteristics:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), Figma, or similar tools. </li><li>Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and visual hierarchy. </li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas and designs effectively. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or 3D design is a plus. </li></ul> <p>GE Aerospace offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
