<p>Job Summary</p> <p>General Atomics (GA), and its affiliated companies, is one of the world's leading resources for high-technology systems. Whether a specific satellite for a specific mission or a constellation of interconnected spacecraft, the GA-EMS Space Systems team is re-defining how customers can access the possibilities of space. GA-EMS offers modular and scalable satellite platforms backed with a history of operational flight experience to support defense, civil, commercial, and academic mission requirements.</p> <p>Our Space Systems team is looking to add a Systems Integration & Test Engineer to support satellite development programs. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the successful integration and verification of GA-EMS developed satellites with their associated ground and launch systems.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>System Integration & Test engineer responsible for:</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to Systems Integration & Test development across programs to ensure system and segment level verification & validation plans meet program statement of work, CDRLs, and requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Define test architecture, test tools and support equipment required for conduct of system-level testing.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop system end-to-end test plans and procedures, support development of segment test plans and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Support development of system and segment test scenarios, and support test plan and procedure development to ensure system design is fully verified.</p> </li><li> <p>Support customer engagements and related engineering mission architecture and analysis products to shape the verification effort at the mission level and provide guidance at lower levels of abstraction.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with all levels of program and engineering staff on design, integration and test matters and support other teams/disciplines as necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish collaborative work relationships with peers to ensure integration & test synergy across space, ground, and launch.</p> </li><li> <p>Using traditional and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches contribute to the development of all SE work products which may include:</p> </li><li> <p>CONOPS</p> </li><li> <p>System Architecture</p> </li><li> <p>Requirements and Interface Control Documents</p> </li><li> <p>Mission and System Analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Trade Studies</p> </li><li> <p>Contributes to conduct of program design and readiness reviews.</p> </li><li> <p>Opportunities will arise to support internal development and new business opportunities</p> </li></ul> <p>We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.</p>
