<p>Apply</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Basic Function: The Benefits Specialist position is responsible for directing and processing the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs, leave administration, and employee wellness initiatives.</p> <p>Principle Accountabilities:</p> <p>Principle Accountabilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Administer the Benefits Administration lifecycle(s) (Health, FSA/HSA, Ancillary Plans, Retirement Plans, etc.) from plan(s) selection through enrollment & daily management</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with New Hire Orientations, providing benefit enrollment education</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct monthly invoice reconciliations and periodic audits</p> </li><li> <p>Act as primary point of contact for all employee benefit and Leave questions</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate benefits open enrollment process. Review and process benefits enrollment for eligible employees</p> </li><li> <p>Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's benefits package. Design and distribute materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment and summary plan descriptions</p> </li><li> <p>Point of contact for all benefits carriers, brokers, TPA, etc. for all communications required in the successful execution of the Benefits Administration lifecycle</p> </li><li> <p>Track COVID monitoring, testing, and employee/supervisor communication; applying ESL to timecards as necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Process and administer all Leave of Absence requests and disability paperwork</p> </li><li> <p>Manage timecards for all employees on Leave, including intermittent Leaves</p> </li><li> <p>Manage benefit repayment plans following Leave of Absences</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information</p> </li><li> <p>Manage Employee Health program- tracking Annual Health Assessments and required vaccinations</p> </li><li> <p>Track Respiratory Protection Program compliance</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee maintenance of employee medical files</p> </li><li> <p>Manage Employee Wellness initiatives through program development and implementation</p> </li><li> <p>Track all Employee Incident Reports, maintain OHSA reporting logs</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee Worker's Compensation claims</p> </li><li> <p>Assign and track completion of all annual inservices for the organization</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with audits and reporting as requested</p> </li><li> <p>Accept direction from management, possess the ability to work well and with compassion in stressful situations maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with and promote all processes associated with the Coleman initiative</p> </li><li> <p>Promoting Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties and responsibilities as may be requested by your supervisor or management</p> </li></ol> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Knowledge/ Education Requirements:</p> <p>A. Associates Degree preferred with 1-3yrs experience in the HR or recruitment fields, High School Diploma or GED required</p> <p>B. Verbal and written communication skills, office applications needed</p> <p>C. Demonstrate proper judgment and decision making skills when necessary</p> <p>D. Comply with the organizations code of conduct, safety rules and adheres to all company policies</p> <p>E. Carry out job responsibilities in an ethical, effective and professional manner</p> <p>F. Must be willing and demonstrate the ability to cooperate, work, and communicate with coworkers and supervisors</p> <p>G. Must have strong analytical skills, computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite</p> <p>H. Experience with HR Information Systems or Applicant Tracking Systems ideal</p> <p>I. Must be keenly aware of the importance of confidentiality in all aspects of the position</p> <p>Salary Description</p> <p>$18.00-$20.00 Depending on Experience</p>
