<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Engineering support for United Stated Coast Guard (USCG) Engineering support for United Stated Coast Guard (USCG) Domestic Icebreaker (DOMICE) Program Management Office (PMO).</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Active Professional Engineer's License in either NAME (Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering) or Mechanical Engineering </li><li>PM Level II or equivalent certification </li><li>At least ten (10) years demonstrated experience with Government vessel design, construction, and repair with primary focus on marine engineering, machinery control systems, auxiliary systems integration and systems engineering. </li><li>Experience performing detailed design and analysis in order to evaluate planned engineering changes in support of major shipbuilding acquisition (DHS/USCG Level 1, DoD ACAT I or equivalent) and repair projects. </li></ul> <p>Essential Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Technical Management Services including, but not limited to, all services related to engineering (e.g., electrical, mechanical, naval, and systems) </li><li>Systems engineering activities including preparation, coordination, and execution of technical reviews, meetings, artifacts, and documents </li><li>Support areas may include, but not limited to: </li><li>Systems Engineering </li><li>Configuration Management </li><li>Concept Development </li><li>Design Documentation and Technical Data </li><li>Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgy/Materials, etc.) </li><li>Engineering Process Improvement </li><li>Independent Verification And Validation </li><li>Integration </li><li>Interoperability </li><li>Life Cycle Management </li><li>Modeling and Simulation </li><li>Prototyping and Fabrication Support </li><li>Quality Assurance </li><li>Red Teaming and Wargaming </li><li>Requirements Analysis </li><li>System Design </li><li>System Integration </li><li>System Safety Engineering </li><li>Test and Evaluation </li><li>Technical Documentation </li><li>Mission Assurance </li><li>Data Analytics </li><li>Architecture Design </li><li>System Verification and Validation </li><li>Baseline (Configuration) Management </li><li>Data Management </li><li>Risk Management </li><li>Technical Planning </li><li>Systems Engineering Training </li><li>Integrated Master Schedule Support </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Special knowledge in consulting, investigating, evaluating, planning and designing, and engineering principles </li></ul> <p>The projected salary range for this position is $115,000-$150,000 and is based on experience and contractual requirements.
