They are a working supervisor, overseeing and assisting with the day-to-day operations. They are also responsible for process improvement, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and analyzing data to support strategic decisions.</p> <p>Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to) the Following:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate and improve material flow between departments and off-site locations; often working with hazardous materials. </li><li>Optimize storage locations and ensure timely delivery of materials using SAP and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) system. </li><li>Manage inventory movement, storage, processing and obsolete inventory. </li><li>Direct packaging, storage, and distribution operations per legal and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations. </li><li>Ensure compliance with Material, waste management, and EHS guidelines. </li><li>Oversee receiving, loading, and unloading of goods, ensuring accurate tracking with EWM. </li><li>Monitor and assist with logistical movements, including foreign shipment documentation and hazardous material paperwork. </li><li>Supervise and assist Warehouse & Logistic Technicians, including training and performance management. </li><li>Collaborate with material planners for material availability and staging. </li><li>Report and investigate EHS incidents, ensuring corrective actions and maintaining records. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Typically requires a bachelor's degree in supply cahin or related field. Three to five years of shipping and/or warehouse leadership experience supporting a manufacturing environment is requires.
