<p>Position: Student Staff Sonographer</p> <p>FTE: Casual, 10% FTE</p> <p>Shift/Schedule: Variable shifts</p> <p>Department: Noninvasive Diagnostics</p> <p>Position Overview: The student sonographer provides assistance in noninvasive cardiac and vascular testing under the direct supervision of a staff sonographer. This individual complies with the department policy and procedures. This individual in enrolled in a cardiovascular ultrasound program. The position includes direct patient care, access to confidential patient and organizational information.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Required Educational Degree: Technical Training</p> <p>Major/Area of Concentration: Cardiovascular Sonography</p> <p>Preferred Education: Individual must be enrolled in an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound program.</p> <p>Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: De-escalation training within 6 months.</p> <p>Preferred Certifications, Credentials and Licenses:</p> <p>Required Experience: 2nd year student from an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound program</p> <p>Preferred Experience:</p> <p>About Adena Health:</p> <p>Adena Health is an independent, not-for-profit and locally governed health organization that has been "called to serve our communities" for more than 125 years.
