<p>Warehouse Associate</p> <p>Department: Operations</p> <p>Employment Type: Full Time</p> <p>Location: Longmont, CO</p> <p>Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 / year</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Project Canary is a climate technology company offering an enterprise data platform that helps energy companies improve and report on their emissions footprint. Project Canary builds high-fidelity sensors, ingests data from various other technologies and sources, and leverages proprietary analytics and models to deliver insights that operators can act on to reduce emissions. The data-driven technology enables energy operators to stop leaks faster, reduce risk, streamline reporting, and differentiate their operations for key stakeholders.</p> <p>The Warehouse Associate will focus on maintaining a functional, orderly warehouse space and coordinating shipping logistics. Core functions of this role include managing inventory, receiving, processing and preparing shipments, utilizing warehouse equipment/machinery, and driving a company vehicle as needed. A successful Warehouse Associate will have a keen eye for detail and should be capable of maintaining all inventory while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.</p> <p>This is a full-time, salaried position.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Inventory Management & Cycle Counts</p> <ul> <li>Perform weekly cycle counts for assigned warehouse aisles and monthly cycle counts at the Denver headquarters location </li><li>Input and maintain inventory cycle count information in NetSuite </li><li>Maintain warehouse organization standards across all storage areas </li></ul> <p>Procurement & Purchase Order Management</p> <ul> <li>Create, manage, and track purchase orders through NetSuite </li><li>Order calibration gases for all field technicians, ensuring timely delivery and adequate stock levels </li><li>Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on order status, lead times, and receipt of goods </li></ul> <p>Logistics & Fulfillment</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping </li><li>Ship equipment and replacement parts to field technicians as needed, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery </li><li>Manage carrier relationships (DHL, FedEx, etc.) and optimize shipping processes </li></ul> <p>Warehouse Operations & Organization</p> <ul> <li>Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse environments </li><li>Maintain and improve warehouse organization systems, bin locations, and labeling standards </li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hazardous materials handling procedures (e.g., calibration gases, dangerous goods) </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Availability to work during normal delivery hours (typically 8:00-5:00 Monday through Friday) </li><li>Proficiency in NetSuite for purchasing and receiving, and inventory management </li><li>Prior knowledge of warehouse operations including counting inventory and packing orders </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail </li><li>Experience operating certain power equipment (pallet jack, forklift) required (certifications preferred) </li><li>Must be able to stand for long periods of time </li><li>Must be able to reach, pull, lift and carry items in the warehouse weighing over 50 lbs. </li><li>A high school diploma or equivalent is required </li><li>Valid driver's license (travel between Warehouse and Denver Headquarters required) </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Salary range: $60,000-$75,000 </li><li>Hybrid work environment (at least 3 days/week in Denver office) </li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance with low deductibles and premiums paid by company 99% for self and 50% for dependents and/or spouse </li><li>401K with company match (no vesting period) </li><li>Opportunity for equity ownership </li><li>Student loan assistance </li><li>Generous culture around time off, including: </li><li>Unlimited PTO </li><li>6 days of sick time per year </li><li>11 paid company holidays per year </li><li>up to 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave (gender neutral) including adoptions </li></ul>
